Constabulary Station, probably mid C19, subsequently library, now club. Red brick in Flemish bond, with low stone plinth and ashlar dressings, hipped slate roof. L-shaped plan, 4 bays. Two storeys; rusticated quoins to outer corners, flush quoins to centre 2 bays which break forward slightly, are linked at ground floor by a Tuscan pilastrade with frieze lettered CONSTABULARY STATION, and have panelled double doors in the left side and a window with panelled stone apron in the right side; recessed iron footscrapers each side of door; all windows sashed with glazing bars. Right return wall has similar windows and 2 doors. Interior contains contemporary lock-up.
