3/153 Jones' Farmhouse 4.12.1980 - II
Farmhouse, C17, altered. Coursed rubble with quoins, slate roof with brick chimney on the ridge. Two storeys. Originally 3 bays with baffle-entry in 2-storey porch; shippons under same roof subsequently added at left end. Prominent dripmould to facade has label stop and carries round porch, stepped over large rectangular lintel of door in left side wall of porch; small round-headed window at 1st floor of this side of porch, another at ground floor of front, and at 1st floor a stone mullioned window with 2 round-headed lights; otherwise, 3 windows each floor, all large modern casements. Right return wall not seen at this survey but previously had 2 "old windows under a common label". (Access restricted).
