Monument. 1877. T. Brock and J.H. Foley.Faces the lake, on an eminence above where stream emerges. Grey granite steps and plinth, with inset panel of inscription (born 1788, died 1868) and reliefs of classical scenes representing 3 of his activities - education, industry and charity - by Brock 1876. Standing Portland stone figure on top by Foley 1874- 77.
