27/1082 Dock Master's Office (formerly listed as Watchman's hut) 14.3.75. G.V. II
Dock Master's Office. On sea wall, south of Victoria Tower. Dated 1848. Jesse Hartley. Granite rubble. 2 storeys and 3 x 1 bays. Battered walls and bracketed parapet with battlements. Windows have 4-cented arched heads, those to end bays on west side are paired. Windows to west and north sides have label moulds, those to 1st floor with foliated stops. Entrances on north, east and south sides have 4-centred arches and label moulds, that to south side is dated. Window frames mostly missing. Interior has brick segmental vaults.
