Italianate style designed by Henry Isaac Stevens of Derby and built in 1857. Stone with band above rusticated and vermiculated ground floor. Plinth. Modillion eaves cornice and balustrade above with centre panel. Stone chimneys, roof not visible. 2 storeys. 3 windows, those of 1st floor separated by plain pilasters. Labels on consoles above each window and panels, with bas relief geometric designs below. Sashes with late C19 glazing. Centre elliptical arch with keystone to carriageway entrance. Flanking sashes with separate lights above each one.
