No 50 (Merion House) GV II
House, C17 in origin, altered and heightened C19. Of ironstone, with Welsh slate roof, coped gables (that to east overlaid by adjoining property) and brick end stacks. Three storeys, 2 window range, double-fronted. Central C19 door in C17 moulded architrave flanked by C18 canted bay windows. Moulded C17 band survives to left and right of these. C19 sash windows with cills to first and second floors. Four wall-tie ends. Later extensions to rear. Included for group value.
