Hall Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Circa 1700. Painted brick, slate roof with raised verges and central brick stack. Baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys with rusticated stone quoins of unequal length and dentilled brick eaves. Regular 5-window front; mainly C20 casements within original openings with flat brick arches and raised key blocks, that to first floor centre is blind. Large C20 window to ground floor left occupying the position of 2 original windows whose heads survive. Central 6-panelled door with bolection-moulded surround and cornice hood. Garage to right, built in front of house. C19 two-storey extensions to the right consist- ing of a gabled wing and a single-bay link with a lean-to building in front. Irregular fenestration.
