SWEPSTONE THE GREEN, NEWTON BURGOLAND SK 30 NW 7/105 No 13 19.6.75 II GV Cottage of 1840. Formerly Congregational Church Sunday School. Red brick with C20 plain tiled twin span roof, paired gable end, front gable coped with end wall stack. Front with brick dentilled eaves. 2 storeys of 1 window, renewed casements, the ground floor under stuccoed lintel with keystone with top light. Door with stuccoed lintel. 2 open arches on rear right corners form porch, Plaque on rear end gable 'Sunday School erected 1840'. Included for group value with Church with it adjoins.
