THE SQUARE 1. 5303 (North Side) Nos 2 to 8 (even) SP 7387 1/55 18.12.73. II GV 2. Early C19 block. Stuccoed facades with moulded eaves cornice and hipped slate roof. Rounded and recessed corner to Adam and Eve Street. 3 storeys. 4 windows, sashes, those to Nos 4, 6 and 8 with glazing bars and incised lintels with keystones. No 2 unbarred sashes with moulded stucco architraves. Ground floor shop fronts:- No 2. Good early C19 shop front with dentil cornice,pilasters and consoles. 2 windows to shop on Adam and Eve Street with same features. Entrance in rounded corner with 2 steps. No glazing bars. No 4. C19 shop front with dentil cornice, architrave and panelled pilasters. Vertical glazing bars only remain. Side shop door. No 6. Entablature with cornice now partly covered by fascia board. Shop window and side door. No 8. C19. Shop front. Entablature with dentil cornice, architrave consoles and panelled pilasters. Shop window, vertical glazing bars only remain. Side door.
