NEWTOWN LINFORD MARKFIELD LANE SK 41 SE (North Side) FIELD HEAD 2/63 Field Head Farmhouse II House of late C18. Granite and slate rubble stone with Swithland slate roof and 2 part rebuilt brick ridge stacks. 2 storeys of 3 3-light centre opening casements, brick cambered lintels to ground floor. C20 outshut porch with 4-light casement to front and side door. Swithland slate roof. On lift end basement opening. On right end small brick porch with Swithland slate roof. To left 2-light window replaces door. 2nd,possibly later span placed obliquely to rear with 1-light window in right gable. Casements, porch and stack to rear.
