Pair of houses. Early C18. Brick with Swithland slate roofs. 2 storeyed, the 2 houses form an L-shaped block with number 2 in the rear wing. Elevation to street has central doorway and 2 light casement window renewed in original opening to its left. Beyond the door the right hand section is a later additional re-build, also with a 3 light casement window. Brick sill band to left hand bay only but continuous moulded eaves cornice. Coped gable to left hand side only. In the gable, a high rubble plinth and blocked upper window. Brick sill band continues across the gable and then runs the length of the rear wing, number 2, which is of 2 bays with doorway and casement windows. A later bay beyond with 3 light casement window on each floor incorporates the remainder of an earlier building with partial granite rubble wall. Gable stacks on front range, axial stack in rear wing.
