THURCASTON ROAD 1. 5304 BELGRAVE 5.1.50 Cross Corners (Dept. of School Services). - Wall to east of Cross SK 5907 10/9 Corners. II GV 2. Early C18 red brick house. Slate roof with gabled ends and two hipped dormers with sashes. Two storeys and attic. Five windows. Plain front with moulded brick eaves cornice and small plinth. Segmental brick arches, sashes with glazing bars in moulded cases. Recessed central door in good wood case with dentil cornice and pediment, flat pilasters, fielded-panel reveals and door. Mid C19 projecting wing on left, brick, two storeys, one window, sashes with glazing bars, slate hipped roof, brick modillion eaves. Including small brick area wall (railings missing) and red brick garden wall to right approximately ten feet high with segmental arch doorway included for group value.

Cross Corners together with St Peter's Church, Belgrave Hall and Garden Walls, Stables and Monument to Edward Holdsworth Gateway and Railings to Belgrave Gardens, Belgrave House and Stables, all in Church Road form a good group.
