2/85 White House Farmhouse

GV II

House. Largely C18 with earlier core. Partially ironstone rubble with some
brickwork. New roof. Two storeyed, four unit plan, right hand bay a later
addition. The three left hand units are of ironstone rubble to lintel height
and brick above. 2-light casement windows, two to left of doorway, one to
its right, renewed but with cambered brick heads. Upper windows also renewed.
Blind window above door. Brick band. Gable and axial stack which forms baffle
entry. Right hand bay has ironstone plinth but is mostly brick. Renewed
3-light casement window on each floor.
