Farmhouse. C17 origins with additions of late C18, altered early C19. Coursed ironstone with some limestone dressings. Slate roof to main range. 2 storeys with attic. West gable retains one 3-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned casement to each of principal floors. Irregular south front comprises 3-bay element to right and a tall sash window to the left. This lights staircase. C20 glazed door in right side of elevation flanked by one C19 tripartite sash left and right, repeated above. Single sash between upper windows. Gabled roof. East, C19, part of front defined by gable-end stack to east and ridge stack to west. West, C17, part with a square section gable-end stack on a square plinth. 2 storey late C18 service wing extends to rear with C20 fenestration.
