Former rectory. C.1800 with C17 origins, extended early C19 and altered C20. Brick, painted, pantile and Swithland slate roofs, brick ridge, end and internal stacks. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range, extended to 5. Central gabled porch with 6-panel door and fanlight. 12-pane sash windows to ground floor with flat-arched heads. C19 horned sashes to 1st floor with 8 large panes and flat-arched heads. Entrance bay breaks forward slightly and interrupts line of eaves and has semi-circular attic window, storey band at eaves level and pedimented gable. Ironstone plinth, and cogged brick eaves with two rows of alternating raised headers below. 2-storey early C19 extension to right has shallow segmental ba# to front with pairs of 12-pane sashes to ground and 1st floors with segmental-arched head. Projecting boxed eaves and semi-conical roof to bow. Lame lateral stack to right side projects slightly and has applied gable when it brinks eaves. Irregular rear elevation has one 2-light chamfered stone mullion window. Interior: drawing room has veined marble chimney piece.
