(east side) 14/166 Wymondham House

II

House. 1801 with later C19 additions. Coursed and squared ironstone with limestone ashlar dressings and slate roofs. Chamfered plinth, first and second floor bands, moulded eaves and coped parapet, rusticated quoins, 3 coped stone gable stacks. Rainwater head dated 1801. South front, 3 storeys, 3 bays, has central late C19 parapeted porch with round headed doorway with impost band and double 6 panel door with plain fanlight, flanked on either side by a canted late C19, ashlar bay window with 3 plain sashes. Above, 3 glazing bar sashes. Above again, 3 smaller glazing bar sashes. All these sashes have moulded architraves and keystones. Rear wing has irregular C19 and C20 fenestration.
