2 houses. Probably 1840s. Brick with stone dressings, hipped
slate roof. No.8 of 3 x 2 bays. String course over ground
floor, 1st floor sill band, top frieze,cornice and blocking
course. Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with
glazing bars. Ground floor canted bay window to left of
entrance has blind windows, also window above. Central 1st
floor window has architrave, frieze and consoled cornice.
Entrance has panelled pilasters, frieze and cornice; 2-
panelled door. Left return has ground floor canted bay
windows and pilasters. No.10 of 3 bays, 3rd bay similar to
No.8 with 2-storey canted bay window with iron colonnettes;
sashes without glazing bars. Left hand bays have projecting
ground floor under lean-to roof, 3 round-arched windows and
entrance to right, projection above has sashed window with
glazing bars.
