Church. 1876. J.L. Pearson. Snecked stone and tile roof with
cresting. Nave with north aisle under shallower cat-slide
roof, north transept and chancel with north vestry. South
west steeple. West end has 4-light window with Geometrical
tracery and 2-light aisle window. 2-light aisle windows and
3-light nave windows with reticulated tracery. Tower has
north west canted stair turret. South entrance of 3 orders,
3 lancets above. 2-light reticulated bell openings. Broach
spire with lucarnes. 5-light east window flanked by gable
buttresses; north transept has 3-light window with
reticulated tracery. Vestry has lean-to roof later
extension. Interior has 4-bay arcade on round columns, arch
braced clapsed-purlin roof. Chancel arch on corbelled
respondes. Chancel has waggon roof. North organ loft has
paired arches under tympanum with quatrefoil. Good early
Gothic revival stained glass to east and transept windows.
