House, now divided into 2. Early to mid C17 with C19 extension at rear. Timber-framed, with roughcast to No.13 and plain render to No.14; old plaintiles. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics. No.13 has a single sash window to each storey: on the 1st storey without glazing-bars in a moulded flush cased frame; on the ground storey a wider former shop window, divided into 3 lights by vertical glazing bars, in a heavy moulded flush frame. A flat-headed dormer with rendered cheeks has a C20 2-light plain casement window. 6-panel door in a plain wood surround. No.14 has a single sash window to each storey, both with a single vertical glazing-bar in a flush cased frame. A small segmental-headed lead-covered dormer has a plain swivel window. A 4-panel door, the top 2 panels glazed, in a plain wood surround. INTERIOR: No.13 has plain main beams, wallplates and middle rails exposed. The roof timbers have been renewed. No.14 has an open fireplace with a plain timber lintel on the rear wall. Few timbers uncovered, but rafters said to be exposed in attic.
