Pair of houses. c.1837. Stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. 1st floor sill band, top cornice. Windows have label moulds and 2-light horizonally sliding sashes with glazing bars. Entrances have label moulds, that to No. 2 with C20 gabled porch, that to No. 4 with gabled porch with latticed sides. Central cross-axial stack. Built in connexion with Stanley Tramway which ran from Storeton Quarry to Bromborough Quay.
