CHURCH HILL Northfield B31 Churchyard wall to the Church of St Laurence

(Formerly listed as Churchyard wall to the Church of St Lawrence)

Of many dates, repaired. Mostly of pink sandstone with rounded stone coping and with a bold ramp from the road as it climbs the link and brine the corner opposite No 6 (QV) where it is c 9 ft high. A flight of brick steps up into the churchyard opposite the former Northfield Schools. Opposite the 'Great Stone' public house (qv) the wall in in its upper courses of brick and partly of c 7 ft and partly of c 4 ft in height only.
