MELLING TITHEBARN LANE SD 30 SE (north-west side) 7/116 No. 23 (former Vicarage) (formerly listed 11.10.68 as Melling Vicarage) G.V. II Vicarage, now private house. 1831-2. Stone with tile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Top cornice and coped gables. End bays break forward under gables.Ground floor 4-light double-chamfered-mullioned windows with label moulds; 1st floor windows similar, of 3 lights. Central projecting Tudor-headed entrance with label mould. Gable-end stacks. Right return wall is C20, following removal of l849 addition.
