Entrance archway with flanking pedestrian entrances.1770-76,with mid C19 addition.Central round-arched entrance with impost continued as cornice band; archivolt and keystone.Flanking Doric columns and entablature with two bucrania and rosettes to metopes.Broken pediment has central cartouche bearing Weld-Blundell arms supporting urn with rams' heads and swags,and with flanking festoons.Cartouche and urn added after 1847.Pedestrian entrances have rusticated surrounds and flat arches supporting bases with swags and rosettes and,to the left entrance,a
lioness,and a lion to the right.Entrances have mid C19 cast iron gates,paired to central entrance.Set in brick estate wall with stone coping.Design copied from painting C.1690 by Sebastiano Ricci,"The Marriage of Bacchus and Ariadne"at one time in the hall.
