5/28 United Reformed - Chapel G.V. II

Chapel, originally congregational. c.1840. Stone with slate roof. Setback buttresses and coped gable with plinth at apex. Wheel window over blind straight-headed window, with trefoil over. 2 porches of 2 bays with outer 2-light straight-headed windows and inner Tudor-arched entrances with gables over. Monument to Evans family between porches has iron railings. 5-bay returns have tall pointed windows with iron tracery and lower iron panels with shields. New hall to right has connection with chapel. Rear has signs of 4-centred arch flanked by cusped blind lancets, now rendered; small structure with connection to left side.
