2. Dated 1669 over doorway. Red brick, tiled roofs mainly hipped with brick cornice. Main block on east of 2 storeys and attics divided by pilasters into 9 bays on main east front, 3 bays on north and south sides. 2 storey central block with recessed door and oblong fanlight, surround with cornice on cut brackets. 1 storey and attic west wing. Flush sash and casement windows with glazing bars, gabled and box dormers. Arched panelled red brick chimneystacks.
Wharley Hall and Barn form a group.
