Details
VITTORIA STREET 1. 5104 (east side) Hockley B1 No 51 SP 0687 NW 24/32 II GV 2. C1820-30 3 storey former town house built of red brick with one bay front to Vittoria Street and 3 bay return on 2 and 3 storeys to Regent Place. Probably part of a terrace, since rebuilt. Stucco plinth, first floor sill band and eaves band to hipped slate roof. The corner on ground floor rebuilt on curve up to deep stucco fascia band running below sill course. Revealed glazing bar sashes with shallow consoles supporting thin cornices and flanking stucco friezes with canted love knot ornament. Ground floor windows by corner altered C1870-80 with segmental polychrome brick arches. Doorway to Regent Place round headed with inset doorcase of panelled pilaster strips and archivolt arch, panelled reveals and soffit, 6 panel door with plain fanlight.
