Details
SIR HARRY'S ROAD 1. 5104 Edgbaston B15 No 9 SP 0684 NW 50/7 II GV 2. C1850-55 detached villa, red brick with stucco Italianate details. Two storeys with a 3 bay front. Plinth; rusticated quoins. Dentil string to bed of flat eaves of slate roof broken forward over 2 storey canted left hand bay. Corniced flanking chimney stacks. The canted bay has pilastered sash lights and panelled frieze. The central ground floor light is additionally flanked by panelled strips with coupled, guttaed, consoles supporting a segmental pediment. Similar details to right hand ground floor window but with cornice instead of pediment. The centre and right hand first floor windows have architrave surrounds. All windows sashes with marginal glazing. The central doorway also has a panelled pilaster strip frame with consoles to segmental pediment set against channelled stuccowork with the cornice moulding returned as capping.
