SIR HARRY'S ROAD 1. 5104 Edgbaston B15 No 11 SP 0684 NW 50/10 II GV 2. C1850-55 detached red brick villa with stucco dressings. A more asymmetrical composition than usual with a 2 storey 2 bay main block flanked by single storey bays, one with entrance the other to north west blind and continued by down swept screen wall to the plot boundary with carriage archway to yard at far end. The villa elevation has a deep plinth, its coping serving as the ground floor sill course; the first floor sill course is carried over as parapet coping on to flanking single storey bays; bed mould to frieze with large scrolled consoles supporting flat eaves of hipped slate roof; 2 dormers with decorated pediment gables; corniced chimney stacks with ornamental pots. Widely spaced first floor windows, marginal glazed sashes in eared architrave surrounds with stepped heads. Ground floor has to left hand a large, eared architrave framed window, also marginal glazed, with pulvinated frieze and cornice. And to right a large rectangular stucco bay window, tripartite to front, with cornice and blocking course. The doorway in the south east flanking bay, is approached by a flight of steps and is framed by same surround as the adjacent hall window in the main block. The down swept screen wall to north west has a parapet coping.
