HOLBORN HILL 1. 5104 Aston B6 Grand junction railway viaduct just south of Aston Station over the Birmingham/Fazeley Canal SP 08 NE 7/19 II 2. C1838, J Locke engineer. Viaduct over canal and Lichfield Road: 3 arches from embankment with 4th over road. Brick with ashlar dressings. Elliptical arches with stepped ashlar voussoirs and channelled ashlar piers with block impost return as string under skewed soffit of arches.
