WRETHAM TL 99 SW 2/69 Long Coggles 150 yards N.W. of Church of St Ethelbert II
Range of 3 Cottages. Dated on west gable 1735. Flint and brick with brick dressings and thatched roof. One storey and gabled dormers to western half of range. 3 stacks over partitions to individual dwellings but eastern cottage has rebuilt central stack. Casement windows throught. Eastern gable has ground floor window and attic casement above, the latter with brick surround. Elaborate brick tumbling and parapet. Full length lean-to addition of one storey at rear, probably late C18. Flint with gault brick quoins and dressings. Tiled roof. Single attic dormer to rear of east cottage. Many windows and doors are C20 replacements.
