Highbury Cottage
GV II
House, formerly divided into 3 cottages. Late C18 front,
restored and virtually gutted in 1964. Timber-framed and
roughcast-rendered; C20 pantiles. 2 storeys, formerly with a
cellar, now infilled. The front still gives the impression of
being divided into two. 3 window range: small-paned 2-light
casements in cased frames with moulded architraves and
cornices and sills on stub brackets. On the ground storey one
fixed window, one small-paned sash and one sliding sash, all
in cased frames with moulded architraves and cornices.
INTERIOR: no features of interest survive inside (information
from the owners). Included for group value.
