- II
Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17, extended during late C17 or early C18; C20 alterations. Rendered sandstone rubble with Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan aligned north/south with west projecting porch, further later additions to west and north, the southern section of the house is now used as a barn. Two storeys. West front: one 2-light C20 window to upper floor with small 2-light window and large 3-light C20 window to left of two-storey gabled porch with 2-light C20 window and wooden framed doorway, inner similar doorway with ledged door; later lean-to extension to right of porch and draught doors of barn to right. Interior not inspected but RCHM notes the possible survival of timber-framed walls later encased with stone (RCHM, Vol I, p 187).
