STAVERTON DAVENTRY ROAD SP5361 (North side) 20/252 The Country Man Public House

House, now public house. Early C18. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, tile roof, brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3 bays. C20 stone porch in second bay from right, doorway with rendered surround and plank door. Windows all have wood lintels, now partly hidden by rendered surrounds. All have C20 three-light wood casements. Coped gable-ends with kneelers. Wing extending from right side at rear, C18-C19. Squared coursed limestone and ironstone, slate roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys; 2 bays. 3-light casement windows with wood lintels. Interior: stop-chamfered spine beams, joists mostly renewed.
