Probably C18 with alterations, 2 storey and attic, mainly red brick face including added splay bay through ground and 1st floors, left. Toothed eaves band. Steep slated roof, hipped at east end, 2 gabled rush dormers. Wood splay bay, 1st floor, right, sash windows mainly with centre glazing bars only. Heavy mutular Doric order to Bank front at ground floor, stucco, with massive segmental open pediment above arched entrance at corner. Important position, north side of Market Place. Elevation to High Street, 2 windows at 1st floor with glazing bars. Gabled sash dormer. Buff brick face, rusticated quoins, south. Bank front ground floor with heavy Doric pilasters and continuous entablature.

Nos 26 to 38 (even) and Nos 48, 50 form a group, also No 26 form a group with Nos 8 to 10 (consec) Market Place.
