4/39 Spring Head approx. 35 metres north-east of The White House

Small masonry structure above a spring resembling a well head. Not earlier than C18 but incorporating a piece of Medieval work. Flint with brick dressings and brick vault (internally). Roughly circular in plan with a dome and a low entrance. Triangular stone lintel above entrance with a slightly cambered soffit and a late Medieval tympanum carving of a genuflecting angel.
