Parish Church. Medieval and later. Flint with ashlar and some brick dress- ings. South wail of nave and porch rendered. Slate and plain tile roofs. West tower, nave with north aisle and south porch and chancel with modern brick vestry to north. Perpendicular west tower with diagonal buttresses displaying chequer flushwork. Traceried west window of 2-lights with mouchettes and transom. Single cusped lancet to west at first floor. 2- light bell-openings with dagger between super-mullions. Crenellated parapet with flushwork and crocketted corner pinnacles. 2 restored 2-light Perpen- dicular nave windows. 2 C15 north aisle 2-light windows with dagger between super mullions. No clearstorey. Chancel with 2 2-light Y-traceried windows, priest's door with hood mould and carved label stops and one low lancet window to south. 3-light Y-traceried east window partially blocked. Hood-mould with carved label stops. Single lancet to north. Dripstone and wall-plate bracket of former vestry. Rood stair projection in angle between north aisle and chancel. C15 tower arch without responds. C19 chancel arch in Early English style with dogtooth, marble shafts and stiff leaf capitals. Triple sedilia with piscina in similar style. C13 3-bay north arcade with quatrefoil piers, bell capitals and plain chamfered arches of 2 orders. C15 restored arch braced roofs to chancel, nave and north aisle with moulded wall plates, butt and ridge purlins. C15 octagonal font with carved figures on stem with re-cut heads. Restored bowl. C19 western gallery and chancel screen.
