Parish church. Medieval and later. Flint with ashlar and some brick dress- ings. Corrugated tile roofs. West tower; aisleless nave with south porch and former north aisle; chancel. C14 west tower with diagonal buttresses. C15 or C16.inserted west door of 2 deep orders with 4-centred arch and colonnettes with facetted capitals. Fine 3-light west window in Decorated style with 3 mouchette and dagger soufflets. 2-light cusped Y-traceried bell- openings and crenellated parapet. Nave south wall with 3 Decorated 2-light windows with mouchettes and daggers. North wall largely C18 with 3 3-light wooden Y-traceried windows filling former arcade openings. Chancel with moulded priest's doorway and 2 2-light Decorated windows with mouchettes and daggers to south. One identical window to north and a dripstone to former vestry. Fine 3-light east window with 4 radiating daggers. Interior. C14 3-bay north arcade with internal shafts only of quatrefoil piers visible. Contemporary chancel arch of 2 wave-moulded orders on 3-shaft responds with facetted capitals and intermediate filletted rolls. Wave-moulded tower-arch on half-shafts. Rood stair doorway to north. Fine C14 chancel piscina with cusped ogee arch and crocketted hood mould. Truncated horizontal cornice and moulded responds of former sedilia. C14 octagonal font with cusped panels and shields. Jacobean font cover with turned central baluster shaft and 4 cupola struts. C17 western screen with baluster shafts and carved arches.
