TF 81 SE LITTLE DUNHAM NECTON ROAD (west side) 6/37 Dairy Farmhouse - II

Former farmhouse, now empty. Mainly C18 with C17 gable-end and C12 re- used masonry. Brick, galletted flint and re-used ashlar with pantiled roof. C17 house with a returned brick gable-end probably connected to a timber frame which was replaced with masonry and extended to rear in C18. C20 side extension not of special interest. 2 storeys and 3 bays to C18 facade of C20 metal windows with brick dressings. Skewback arch with cambered soffit to central front door. Sawtooth cornice. C17 gable- end of small bricks in English bond. Stack and one surviving moulded gable corbel to rear. C12 re-used ashlar probably from St.Mary's Great Dunham with one piece of chevron in outshut quoins and some sections of shafts on main facade. Stack to former eastern gable-end. Interior with some early C19 reeded fire surrounds and some re-used timbers in roof.
