Pair of estate cottages, mid C19, carstone with red brick dressings, plain tiles, cockscomb ridge to no. 10. 4 bays, 2 storeys; central axial stack with 6 linked shafts; outer bays with single storeyed porches having 4 centred brick arches, boarded doors with original fittings and strap hinges having fleur de lys finials; cast iron lattice glazing bars to casements, of 3 lights to bays 2 and 3 of ground floor, and 2 lights to each bay of 1st floor. Returns: ground floor with 2-light casements having cast iron lattice glazing bars.
Included as example of C19 estate cottages with unaltered facades.
