5/37 Colt's Hall Barn
G.V. II
Barn. Fabric of re-used clunch and brick of late medieval and C16 origin, probably reconstructed C18. Hipped pantile roof. Single range of one storey with diagonal corner buttresses and one central stepped buttress to east and west flanks, all of brick and clunch. Walls of coursed clunch. West side with row of blocked brick lancets of C18 origin, 2 C19 segmental-headed windows and pair of full height double doors. East side with row of blocked square windows, 2 C19 segmental windows with gault brick architraves and pair of full height double doors. 3 southern bays opened into cartshed. Roof height raised with brick late C20 and re-roofed.
