TF 6101 DENVER DOWNHAM ROAD (East Side) (No.2) 9/2 The Old Rectory)
- II
Rectory, now 2 private houses. c.1770 with additions of 1826. Galleted carstone with brick quoins and dressings. Slate roof. 2½ storeys in 3 bays with flat brick string courses between storeys. Rebuilt porch to right with fluted pilasters to doorcase supporting broken pediment. Side lights. C19 hipped bay window to left and one original sash in centre with glazing bars within timber surround under segmental arch. Remainder of sashes similar. Double console eaves cornice. Gabled roof. Square 4-flued stack at each rear corner. One storey extension to south and 2 rear gabled additions of 1826.
