House. Late C18. Squared, coursed carstone ashlar blocks with brick dressings, black pantiled roof with some red pantile insertions. 2 storey 5 bay facade to east, 3 bay to south. East front to Market Place along Lynn Road has regular symmetrical classical facade with 5 ground floor sashes with glazing bars of 2 panes height to each half of sash, 5 smaller first floor sashes with glazing bars of single pane height to each half of sash. Rubbed brick flat arched heads to each window, white painted stone sills. End pilasters. Central ground floor window has in addition a semi-circular rubbed brick relieving arch. One ridge and one party wall stack. Returned entrance facade to west with evidence of earlier C17 work and built up gable to east has one flush ground floor sash with glazing bars, one 3 sided brick bay window addition, 3 sashes with glazing bars. Central porch with wooden columns and flat roof, 6 panel raised and fielded door, arched fanlight,brick architrave. 3 first floor sashes with glazing bars. Brick dressings to window openings, brick quoins. Roof hipped at east, gabled with stack at east.
