G.V. II
House. Late C17 carstone house absorbed by mid C18 enlargement and late
C18 additions. C18 work of colourwashed brick, roofs of corrugated tiles.
Facade mid C18 of 3 storeys in 3 bays. Central panelled door behind panelled
pedimented doorcase, the pediment containing fanlight. Flat brick string
courses between floors. All windows sashes with glazing bars intact under
finely gauged skewback arches. 2 narrow additional windows flank door.
Timber eaves cornice on paired shaped brackets. Gabled roof with internal
end stacks.
