House. Early C18 probably built as a stable block to the adjoining mansion formerly Ware Hill House, now called Great Amwell House. Red brick plaster eaves cornice and moulded pediment. Gabled slate roof. A formal symmetrical 2 storey's small block with decorative pedimented E gable on roadside. Triangular pediment with gauged brick bullseye window. Palladian motif with wide round headed central panel flanked by square headed sunk panels. Dado band and plinth breaking back in the panels. Windows at 2 levels in central panel. Long N side has a wide central projection with a 2-light leaded casement window under the eaves. Similar 3-light windows to right and left. 2- storeys flat-roofed extension on S with present entrance not of special interest. Forms a group with Great Amwell House.
