ALDBURY STOCKS ROAD SP 91 SE (West side) 5/25 4 carved stone figures - set in low garden wall to S of Stocks House GV II 4 stone figures. Circa 1600. Carved limestone. 4 early Renaissance terms with demi-figures supporting baskets of fruit carved in high relief. Each figure set in a pier of the low wall facing N. Figures about 2½ft. high, with rectangular ground. The manor house of the manor of Stocks has been in this vicinity since the C12.
