II
Barn. Probably late C17 or early C18. Brick-nogged timber- framing, tiled roof. Four bays, one end bay lofted. Facade to road: window on left, top glazed, bottom hit-and-miss shutter: top panels second and fourth bays small, cross-shaped air-vent in centre: double boarded doors to threshing floor third bay. Left return gable with collar and V struts over. Left bay walled off from rest of barn, probably as stable: doors to threshing floor from yard lower. Internally, tie beam truss with angled struts: 2 pairs purlins, square ridge, slight braces to purlins. Below truss long braces from cross sill each side threshing floor to main posts, centre vertical post.
