House. Probably late C16, enlarged C17 or early C18, extended mid C20. Brick-nogged timber frame, stone plinth: rendered side and rear walls: tiled roof. Three-bay front, one room deep, two storeys: lean-to along back. Two-panel high framing per floor on left; at left end front blocked door up brick steps: to right two-light metal casement window. Mid C20 two-light casement by half-glazed front door up two steps: covered open timber porch, weatherboarded gable. To right jowled post for roof at right-angles to front, matched at corner: mortices for projecting bay since removed. Truss infilled timber-framing left, brickwork right, latter with three-light wooden casement. First floor three-light wooden casement left, iron opening light; similar to left door. Framing extends over tie beam up to queen strut, two-light casement with iron opening light, bottom half of principal rafter carrying verge: eaves on right return at lower level than front. Brick chimney on ridge to left of door, chimney on right return.
Internally two equal bays left part, originally two unequal rooms below, later altered: rooms to right at lower level on both floors. Originally right end two or three bay house, 1½ storeys, extended with two-bay wing to left: original later reduced to same width as extension.
