Small house: late C17, enlarged C19, altered C20. White-painted brick nogging to timber framing, on random rubble plinth: extension on left random rubble, brick dressings, painted white; asbestos slate roof. Two-bay, 1 1/2 storeys, lean-to along rear. Front at right-angles to road: timber framing one bay on right, 2 panels high. Boarded front door to left, up one stone step, under gabled timber porch, boarded gable, trellis sides. To right 2- light wooden casement window under weatherboard, straight brace sill to wall post. Single-storey lean-to extension against front of gable, brick plinth and nogging, thin frame. To left of front door stone extension, 2-light wooden casement window, cambered brick arch. Two-light lean-to dormer to right front door, iron opening light. Right return large projecting stone base to chimney behind lean-to: brick stack: timber-framed gable. Stone lean-to behind with boarded door. Originally thatched with eyebrown dormer (old photograph).
