II
House: C17. Timber-framed, 2-panel high per floor, on low stone plinth: some wattle and daub infill, some brick nogging. Tiled roof. Two unequal bays, larger on right, 16 storey. Front: 2- light casement and single-light window in left bay: to right 2- light casement. Glazed metal door on right covered by single- storey lean-to extension, wraps round end: brick base, glazed top, boarded door. Above, end of main beam in left bay sits on rail in centre of panel: panels generally set back slightly from face of timbers. Straight braces main posts to wallplate. In centre twin 2-light casement windows in lean-to dormer. Left end half- hipped, right gable. Large stone chimney projection on right, small brick stack on top. Interior: cut tie-beam truss; wind- braces from truss to wallplate in right bay only. Rafters pegged to square ridge. Internal doors boarded.
