Terrace of 5 houses; C17, later alterations, No 62 probably early C19 front. Brick-nogged timber-framing on random-rubble plinth, some rendered panels, framing 2 panels high per floor; Flemish- bond brickwork to No 62; tiled roofs. 6 bays long, 2 storeys. Street facade, at right, cellar opening in plinth with top-hung shutter, plates in pavement. Above 2-light casement: on left boarded door up 2 stone steps, further 2-light casement. Beyond smaller 2-Light casement, C20 door up 3 stone steps with timber rail, 4-pane window. Three-light mullion and transom window in square oriel, tiled lean-to roof; boarded door up 3 stone steps with iron rail. To left adjacent boarded door off quarter landing up 4 stone steps at right-angles to facade. C20 two-light metal casement beyond: framing replaced by brickwork below window sill. Beyond brick front to No 62, boarded door, cambered brick arch, off quarter landing up 4 steps at right-angles to building; single iron handrail. High rendered plinth beyond, 2-light casement with no lintel. First floor brace main post to wallplate at right-hand end: two 2-light casements either side of single-light window, over door. To left 2-light casement over door to No 68. Slight change in eaves level with further brace; 3-light casement over oriel, 2-light at left end of framed section. Two-light horizontal-sliding sash to No 62. Gable chimney projects from right end, large, rendered base. Large chimney on ridge between Nos 68 and 70, slight change in roof level between Nos 66 and 68, with small chimney at ridge; further chimney on gable No 64. Roof to No 62 slightly lower pitch, chimney at left on ridge. Break in brickwork on left of No 62.
